Códigos Atemporales, 2017 - 2021
Código Atemporal, is composed of stratifications of materials taken from the city, between walls and streets, conceptually linked to events taken from local newspapers and personal practices. These works debate and contemplate the construction of time and how we shape it as a society.
The series created between 2017 and 2020 in Lima, alludes to geological cuts, tailings and layers of human sediments. Created level by level, without following any pattern or fixed correlation other than self-interest in some event of the day, these function, from their materiality, as abstract samples of life in the Anthropocene of today or in the recent past.
